Our task involved developing a brief video series inspired by The Guardian's investigative journalism on the climate crisis.
Collaborating closely with the design director, I took charge of storyboarding and crafting animated assets for this explanatory video. The goal in our design approach was to produce captivating visuals that mirror the narrative in the script, all the while adhering to The Guardian's brand guidelines.
When designing and animating these assets, we consistently consider this aspect. Here are a few examples showcasing assets repurposed, specifically for social channels.
We ensured these assets maintained visual appeal in both 9:16 and 1:1 resolutions during the design phase.
